Being LGBTQ+ is NOT a disability

It is estimated that there are between 3-5 million LGBTQ+ persons with disabilities in the US.

If you don’t already know, LGBTQ+ stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer. LGB and Q represents a person’s sexual orientation. Transgender means that the person identifies with a gender different then the one they were assigned at birth.

We can always do a better job to make both our children and other adults feel loved, accepted, respected and celebrated for who they are. I hope that you find the following resources valuable.

    Love is love.

    Warm regards,
    Danna
