Representation And Inclusion (Part 3)

    A day in the lifeā€¦
It is so easy to become isolated in today’s world.

And, even though it is hard to fathom that there are other people living similar lives as you are, they do exist.

Fortunately, with the upside of social media, we have many people and families that are sharing their stories with us each day. Their shares are opening doors and allowing for the creation of digital special needs or disability communities. These communities celebrate, tackle adversity and tough problems, and mourn together. It is pretty flipping awesome!

If you haven’t done so before, we’d highly recommend downloading and creating accounts on Instagram and TikTok. You can keep your account private and not create a single post. Check out the people that we have listed below and do your own keyword and #tag searches to find people that are sharing stories that are interesting to you. Once you find them, click Follow and any time they make a post it will go to your feed.

And, once all of this is set up, you will have your daily dose to confirm that you are not alone.

    Warm regards,
    Kristin
