The Importance of Representation and Inclusion

I think that, at times, people misconceive that a diagnosis means that a person is defective and not enough.

This is so far from the truth.

We need to elevate the stories of people with disabilities so that there is adequate and appropriate representation across society. We need for more people to relate to and understand what it is like to live with a disability or medical condition.

To this end, this is the first of a three newsletters celebrating the lives and stories of people with disabilities – who they are, their challenges, and their accomplishments.

    Warm regards,
